Mössbauer Equipment Requests

Inexpensive Velocity Transducer Needed

Adi Robinson, a researcher at the University of Rochester in the US, is attempting to start a Mossbauer advanced lab for undergraduate seniors. In order to do so, he is seeking a simple velocity transducer for the students to work with and calibrate. Most manufacturers charge over $5,000 for transducers, and his budget allows only $1,000.

If you have an unused transducer that you would be willing to donate to Mr. Robinson, or are aware of a company that can provide a transducer in his budget range, please contact Mr. Robinson directly at <justadi316@gmail.com>.

Thank you for your time and help in this regard.
